ROBERT CRISP, age 76 of the Forbus Community near Jamestown, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at his Home. The funeral Service will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the CUSH UPCHURCH CEMETERY in the Red Hill Community. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.
Mr. Crisp was a former State Trooper for the Tennessee Highway Patrol who once worked in DeKalb County.

Jeremiah Dan Christensen, age 35, of Smyrna passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
Celebration of Life will be 10:00am Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN. Steve Howell will officiate. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Liberty, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Rowland Christensen, parents, Dan and Elizabeth Christensen of Smyrna, brother, Josiah Christensen (Becky) of LaVergne, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mitchell and Debra Rowland of Liberty, sister-in-law, Ashley Rowland (Michael Jenkins) of Chattanooga, nephew and nieces, Elijah Christensen, Eliana Christensen and Emma Rowland.
Jerry was a member of the Experience Community and loved his time with Nationwide Studios as a color specialist before becoming a data collector with PPG Paints at Nissan in Smyrna. He had a passion for the outdoors especially hiking.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his memory.

Daniel Lee Mayo of Smithville was born May 19, 1970 to his parents, Dave, Jr and Joyce Linder Mayo and he passed away in Rock Island, TN. He was a construction worker. At the time of his passing he was survived by his wife, Janet Mayo of Celina; daughter, Kelly Danielle (John) Licht of McMinnville; grandson, Zaden Alexavier Licht; father, Dave Mayo, Jr.; mother, Joyce Linder Mayo, who passed away on April 11, 2017; brothers, Michael and Greg Mayo both of Smithville; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. The will be a Memorial Service celebrating Daniel’s life on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 4 PM at the Harvest Time Church, located just off Tabernacle Road in Smithville with Bro. Robert Page officiating. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Lizzie Lou Owens age 67 of Alexandria, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her residence. Born March 17, 1950 in Blackwater, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Retha Sharp Owens. She is survived by her niece, Tracy Owens of Alexandria; brothers, Henry Owens of Corbin, KY and Kenneth Owens of Smithville; sister, Letha Price of Portage, IN; nieces and nephews, Heather Owens, Tim Price, Pat Olson, Michelle Curtis; great nephew, Lewis Owens of Corbin,KY; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lizzie had requested cremation and the family will hold a time of remembrance at a later date. HUNTER FUNERAL HOME in Watertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Sarah Renee Roller Grizzle age 45 of Murfreesboro and a native of DeKalb County, passed away Tuesday morning, March 13, 2018. She was born October 19, 1972 to her parents, Fred and Shirley Stewart Roller. She was preceded in death by 1 nephew, Josh Reece. Sarah attended the Kingdom of Jesus Church. She is survived by her companion, Scotty Grizzle of Murfreesboro; 4 children, Kyra Shaday Wood of Nashville, Dallas Glenn Roller, Sadey Renee Grizzle and Henry Slade Grizzle all of Murfreesboro; 1 granddaughter, Kaleighn Richardson; Mother, Shirley Roller of Florida; father, Fred Roller of Rock Island; 2 sisters, Glenda (Jame) Hale of Liberty, Shelia Chapman of Smithville; 3 brothers, John (Michele) Roller of Smithville, Donnie (Jennifer) Roller of Smithville and Ronnie Roller of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Glenn Chapman officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 2 PM until 8 PM and Thursday 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

43 year old Kyle Russell Hill of Cresco, Iowa passed away Saturday at his residence in Iowa. He was a Pentecostal and he spent 20 years in the Tool & Die occupation. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Billy Hale and Jonathan Willoughby will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. Hill was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hill; his paternal grandparents, Jack and Eva Hendrixson Hill; and his maternal grandparents, Chuck and N.A. Ervin Tramel. Survivors include his mother, Brenda Hill Stewart; a daughter, Kyleigh Hill; a brother, Craig Hill; aunts and uncle, Polly Hill, Faye Hendrix, and Wayne and Vivian Hill all of Smithville. Cousins, Dava and Russell Pedigo, Terra and Tad Turner, and Tiffany Hendrixson all of Smithville, Dustin and Tanetta Hendrix of Sparta, and Debbie and Stan Hardaway of Gallatin. Many family and close friends in Tennessee and Iowa also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
