Emme Colwell shut down White County throwing a complete game enroute to a 12-0 victory for the DeKalb County Tigerettes Monday in Smithville.
Colwell pitched a 2 hit shutout through 5 innings while striking out 5 and walking 2.
DeKalb County scored 12 runs on 11 hits and made no errors. White County was held scoreless on 2 hits and made no errors.
The Tigerettes scored 5 runs in the 1st inning, 3 runs in the 2nd, and 4 runs in the 3rd inning.
Megan Walker, Kenzie France, and Emme Colwell each had 2 hits and 3 RBI including a homerun for Colwell. Maddison Parsley and Joni Robinson each had 2 hits and an RBI and Jacey Hatfield had a hit.
