Tigerette Ellie Cripps pitches perfect game against Cannon County

Ellie Cripps was perfect in the pitching circle on Tuesday to lead the DeKalb County Tigerettes past Cannon County 15-0.

The Tigerettes fired up the offense in the first inning. Jacey Hatfield hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

DeKalb County tallied six runs in the fourth inning. Hatfield, Bri Murphy, Aniston Farler, and Elaina Turner all contributed with RBIs.

Cripps pitched a no hit shutout over four innings, striking out three and walking none.

Maddie Arnold took the loss for Cannon County surrendering 11 runs on six hits over three innings, striking out two and walking one.

The Tigerettes hit three home runs on the day. Emma Martin went yard in the third inning. Murphy had a dinger in the third inning and Hatfield went deep in the fourth inning.

Martin, Cripps, Emma Johnson, Farler, Turner, Murphy, Aly Griffith, and Hatfield all had one hit to lead the Tigerettes and Griffith had three of the teams 13 stolen bases.

DeKalb County didn’t commit a single error in the field. Madison Martin had six chances, the most on the team.
