Red Boiling Springs Hands DCHS Teams Pair of Losses

The DCHS basketball teams traveled to Red Boiling Springs Saturday night and were handed a pair of losses with the Lady Tigers losing 56 to 48 while the Tigers were defeated 59 to 40.

The Lady Tigers trailed 15 to 4 after the 1st period, 39 to 15 at halftime, and 48 to 23 after the 3rd period before losing 56 to 48.

Emme Colwell scored 17. Megan Walker 12. Kadee Ferrell 11. Mya Ruch 5 and Natalie Snipes with 3.
The Tigers found themselves behind 12 to 11 after the 1st period, 28 to 20 at halftime, and 44 to 31 after the 3rd period before falling 59 to 40.

Jordan Young scored 11. Dakota White and Dallas Cook each had 9. Lucas Hale 6 and Brayden Antoniak with 5.

The Tigers have a record of 5-13 (2-4 in the district) while the Lady Tigers are now 9-10 and (2-4 in the district).
