Hatfield Leads Tigerettes to Win Over White County.

Jacey Hatfield had a busy day at the plate on Monday, smacking 4 hits in leading the DCHS Tigerettes to an 8-5 victory over White County.

Hatfield hit for the cycle with a single in the 1st, homerun in the 3rd, triple in the 5th, and double in the 6th inning.

DeKalb County scored 8 runs on 13 hits and made no errors. White County scored 5 runs on 11 hits with 1 error.

The Tigerettes scored 1 run in the 3rd, 3 runs in the 4th, 1 run in the 5th, and 3 runs in the 6th inning. White County scored 2 runs in the 4th inning and 3 runs in the 6th.

Tigerette Kenzie France was the winning pitcher. She allowed 4 hits and no runs over 3 innings, striking out 2 and walking none. Madison Whitehead and Emme Colwell entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Whitehead gave up 2 runs on 3 hits and struck out 2. Colwell surrendered 3 runs on 4 hits, struck out 1 and walked 2.

For the game, Jacey Hatfield had 4 hits and 2 RBI, Kenzie France with 3 hits and 1 RBI, Joni Robinson 2 hits and 1 RBI, Emme Colwell with 1 hit and 2 RBI, Megan Walker 1 hit and 1 RBI, Ellie Cripps 2 hits and Maddison Parsley with an RBI.
