DMS Cross Country Girls Capture Title at Ryan Burnett Invitational

The DMS cross country teams raced at the Ryan Burnett Invitational on Saturday, September 28th at Cookeville High School’s challenging course.

The girls team brought home a 1st place team finish which marks the 4th straight win for the DeKalb Lady Saints.
The DMS boys placed 3rd overall earning a team trophy.
Out of a field of 73 the girls team had 5 of their runners in the top 10 earning medal honors and the boys had 4 of their runners in the top 20 earning medal honors.

The teams will be traveling to Macon County High School to compete at the Mid-State Regional Cross Country Meet on October 12th.  This meet is a regional qualifier for the State Meet in Knoxville on October 19th.
