Sue M. Mathis age 81 died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at Palmettos Assisted Living in Greenville, SC. Formerly of Smithville, she was the wife of the late Guy Mathis and was a retired dispatcher with the Smithville Police Dept. She was born Dec. 17, 1937, daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth McCoy and was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis McCoy, Sr. Sue is survived by her sister, Martha Greer and her husband, Arthur of Simpsonville, SC; niece, Janice (Gary) Stockman and nephew, Lewis McCoy, Jr. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 at Salem Cemetery in Liberty, TN.
