81 year old Shirley Jean Fish Selvey of Smithville passed away Wednesday at Centennial Medical Center. She was a member of the Smithville Church of God and a homemaker. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Donnie Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Haskel and Jesse Mildred Fish; her husband of 56 years, William Arnold Selvey; brother, Dennis LaVon Fish; and a sister, Teresa Trout. Survivors include five daughters, Yvonne Gilbert, Sherry Hensley, Gail and Ronnie Baines, Sallie Maples, and Norma and Joe Rice all of Smithville. Eight grandchildren, Daniel and Jessica Evans of Georgia, Dana and Jacob Davis, Jason Baines, Corey and Rebecca Dickens, Whitney Maples, Caleb and Carrie Baines all of Smithville, Eric Dickens of Murfreesboro, and Lee and Andrew Stonestreet of West Virginia. Eleven great grandchildren. Five sisters, Donna Williamson of Dayton, Sandra McCoy, Tonya McBrayer, Norma Adkins, and Marsha Gibson all of Kentucky, and four brothers, Randall, Mitchell, Keith, and Gary Fish all of Kentucky. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
