Mr. Shannon Eugene Tayes age 51 of Dowelltown, TN passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Emergency Room of Ascension St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital.
Shannon was born on April 5, 1969 in Cookeville, TN to his parents, Don Tayes & Elizabeth Key Gann. He was the owner/operator of Tayes Masonry.
The family of Mr. Tayes has chosen cremation. Memorial services will be held and a later time.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Paulette Knowles & a nephew, Billy Knowles. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cindy Tayes and 2 children, Holly Tayes & Cody Thomas all of Dowelltown, TN. Brother, Don (Susan) Tayes of Baxter, TN and a niece, Sasha Knowles of Cookeville, TN.
