69 year old Larry Glenn Davenport of Liberty died Saturday at Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital. Davenport was retired from TRW. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn Davenport, and Lucille Mathis, and wife Betty Davenport. Survivors include children Wesley Davenport of Sparta, Brian and Kirstin Davenport of Columbia, J R and Samantha Spain of Smyrna, Chris and Ashley Davenport of Franklin, Ky., and Heather and Garrett Palmer of Raleigh, NC. Grandchildren Alan, Tanner, Jackson, Gabriel, Lorelai, Lucas,and Isabella. His beloved dog Apache. Brothers, and sister Hugh and Teri Davenport, Mickey and Jenifer Davenport, Leanne McGill, and several nieces , and nephews. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, March 12 at 1 PM at Davenport Family Cemetery. Thurman Seber will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 4-8pm, and Tuesday 10-12. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
