Jordan Thomas Adams age 36 of Smithville, passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1985 to his parents, Danny “Peewee” and Marlene Adams of Smithville. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald Smith, Viola Cole, Sammie Adams. Funeral services will be held 11:AM Wednesday December 22, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Bill Robertson and Scott Pack officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 4 PM until 7 PM and Wednesday 9:AM until the time of the service at 11:AM. Survivors include his parents: Danny “Peewee” and Marlene Adams of Smithville; Sister: Danielle (Anthony) Carr of Smithville; Brother: Blaine (Kayla) Adams of Smithville; Grandmother: Margie Smith of Smithville; Grandfather: Norman Cole; Nieces: Katelyn Carr, Hannah McBride, Avery Carr; Nephews: Elijah Carr, Crew Adams, Christian Adams; Great Niece: Bella Truitt; many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive. THE FUNERAL HOME LOUNGE IS CLOSED AT THIS TIME AND NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED. In addition to flowers, family request donations be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp in memory of Jordan.
