James E. Hale

75 year old James E. Hale of Liberty died Tuesday at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. He was a mechanic at Paschal Farm Equipment and Paschal Farms for 57 years. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Wilson Williams and Charlie Stanton will officiate and burial will be in the Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Hale and Nonnie Cleo Bogle; infant brother, John B. Hale; son, Jamie Carl Hale; sister, Annie Lou Bogle; and a nephew, Greg Bogle. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley Hale of Liberty. Daughter, Glenda and Jeff Curtis of Alexandria. Granddaughter, Savannah Curtis of Alexandria. Brothers-in-law, Tommy Bogle of Liberty and David and Sandra Bain of Smithville. Sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Braswell of Dibrell and Mary Bain of Woodbury. Uncle, Vernon Lee and Sue Bogle of Woodbury. Special friends, Bobby Robinson and the Paschal Family. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
