75 year old James E. Hale of Liberty died Tuesday at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. He was a mechanic at Paschal Farm Equipment and Paschal Farms for 57 years. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Wilson Williams and Charlie Stanton will officiate and burial will be in the Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Hale and Nonnie Cleo Bogle; infant brother, John B. Hale; son, Jamie Carl Hale; sister, Annie Lou Bogle; and a nephew, Greg Bogle. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley Hale of Liberty. Daughter, Glenda and Jeff Curtis of Alexandria. Granddaughter, Savannah Curtis of Alexandria. Brothers-in-law, Tommy Bogle of Liberty and David and Sandra Bain of Smithville. Sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Braswell of Dibrell and Mary Bain of Woodbury. Uncle, Vernon Lee and Sue Bogle of Woodbury. Special friends, Bobby Robinson and the Paschal Family.
