Dorothy Ann George age 82 of Alexandria, died Sunday, March 26, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville. Born July 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel Barrett Cook, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Emmett George and Clyde Wooden; sons, Michael, Joey and Jeff (Billie) George; sister, Pam Young and brothers, Carl Thomas and Ronnie Cook. Dorothy is survived by her grandchildren, Brandy Bower, Sheena Roper, Brittany George, Seth George, Amanda Hicks, Jennifer Ferguson and Jessica Claridy; several great grandchildren; sister, Lisa Rhody and brother, Joe (Brenda) Cook, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday and prior to services Saturday. Interment at Prosperity Cemetery.
