A 16 year old Brush Creek boy escaped serious injury in a rollover crash Friday afternoon on New Hope Road.
The boy lost control of his Pathfinder while trying to negotiate a curve and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its side in the road. DeKalb EMS was on the scene but the boy did not have to be transported to the hospital. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and DeKalb Volunteer Fire Department were also on the scene.
