The DeKalb County Fishing Team was among 4 teams competing on Saturday in the Central Tennessee Region Bass Nation High School Tournament. The tournament started from Cookeville Boat Dock. Those competing were: Avery South & Braden Martin, Logan O’Connor & Mason Winter, Connor Vaughn & Skylar Sparks and Jadyn Young & Preston Moore. Jadyn & Preston came in 6th place with 4.11 pounds of Bass. They even won scholarship money.
