DCHS Class of 2019 Graduates Friday Night

Graduation for the Class of 2019 at DeKalb County High School will be Friday night at 7:00 p.m. on the high school football field.

The commencement program will feature the presentation of the White Rose and Citizenship Awards to members of the Class, a performance by the DCHS Chorus and Band and remarks by the Class Valedictorian Madison Cantrell and Class President Trey Fuston.

The program includes:

*Invocation by Jonathon Birmingham, FCA member

*Presentation of the Alma Mater and performances of “The Climb” and “Country Roads” by the DCHS Chorus

*Introduction by Class President Trey Fuston

*Address to the Class by Valedictorian Madison Cantrell

*A performance of “The Greatest Showman” by the DCHS Band

*Recognition of Honors and Distinction students by Lori Myrick, Guidance Department

*Recognition of Top Rank and Service students by Shelly Painter, Guidance Department

*Presentation of White Rose and Citizenship Awards by DCHS Principal Randy Jennings

*A performance by the DCHS Band of “Czardas-Monti” featuring Axel Rico

*Presentation of diplomas by Principal Randy Jennings and Director of Schools Patrick Cripps

*Benediction by Grace Crips, FCA member

*Recessional by DCHS Band
