Wanda Faye Byford

Wanda Faye Byford, 83, of Liberty, TN. passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at St. Thomas Rutherford with her family by her side.
Born in Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Rebecca Nokes McGee.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Byford (Mike) Reedy, Sam (Alisha) Byford, and Cindy Byford (Michael) Underhill all of Cannon Co.; grandchildren, Corey Reedy, Jeremy (Kim) Reedy, Will (Samantha) Byford, Jack Byford, Georgia-Grace Byford, Makayla (Garrett) Johnson and Kelsey Underhill; great grandchildren, Katie Reedy, Makayla Reedy, Matthias Reedy, Josh Reedy and Raivah Reedy.
A member of the Church of Christ, Faye worked as a clerk at the Dekalb Farmer’s Co-Op for 17 years and she also worked for Federal Mogul. She enjoyed fishing, reading romance novels, working on the farm and gardening. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and making wonderful memories with them.
Her family will receive friends, Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 31, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Reedy officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Aarat cemetery. Pallbearers include Corey and Jeremy Reedy, Josh and Matthias Reedy, Will and Jack Byford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett Johnson and Tanner Young.

Karen Taylor age 57 of McMinnville passed away Monday May 26, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. She was born November 4, 1967, to her parents the late, Marvin and Nancy Taylor. Ms. Karen worked in Restaurants. Graveside services and burial will be held Friday May 30, 2025, 11:AM at Melton Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating There will not be any visitation or services held at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 11:AM. She is survived by her uncle, Thomas “Ernie” Taylor of McMinnville; several cousins also survive. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Taylor family.
Beverly Doreta Redmon Crips

Beverly Doreta Redmon Crips, age 74 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025. She was a retired store clerk and homemaker. She was a member of Smithville First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her family and talking was her favorite past time.
She was born in Smithville on December 9, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents; Lewis Redmon and Charlie Mae Braswell Foster, daughter; Tammy Rhea, 1 great-grandchild- Nathaniel James Crips and 3 brothers; Lamar Redmon, EJ Atnip and Billy Atnip.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bernard Houk and Bro. Andy Patterson will officiate and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include 1 son; Melvin and Tina Crips Jr. of Smithville, 4 grandchildren; Cameron Allen Rhea of Clarksville, Kaitlin Rhea of Smithville, Caelin Riley Crips of Nashville and Landon James Crips (Allena O’Conner) of Smithville, 2 great grandchildren; Asher Gray and Oakley Renn, 2 sisters; Ellen Moore and Faye Cantrell of Smithville.
