Mary Lou Moses was born Dec. 31, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to her parents, Elmer David Patterson and Bridgette Kiernan Patterson. She departed this life on ,May 15, 2025 at her daughters residence. She was an Artist and Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Her Husband, Ron Moses , her brother, Sonny and sisters, Betty and Wanda. She is survived by her children, Christie (Thomas) Stenbridge, Ron (Kim) Moses, Rodney Alan Buckmeyer, Shannon Moses and Iesha Moses. Her grandchildren, Landry and Keeley Moses, and Erik (Emilee) Buckmeyer.and great-grandchild, Wilder Judd Buckmeyer. She is also survived by her brother, Mikey (Diane) Patterson. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.



Maureen Rigsby

Maureen Rigsby age 95 of Smithville, passed away Saturday morning, May 17, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. She was born December 9, 1929 to her parents, the late F. N. Summers and Pauline Caldwell Parsley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clent Page; infant daughter, Karen Doris Page; grandson, Bradley Hawker and brother, Tolbert Summers. She was a member of the Whorton Springs Baptist for over 50 years and was a LPN. In her later years, Maureen enjoyed being out with John Lee watching him bushhog or work in hay. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, John Lee Rigsby of Smithville; daughter, Elaine (Larry) Hawker of Lebanon; grandsons, Michael (Yvonne) Hawker and Jon (Jennifer) Hawker; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Keira, Cameron and Oakley; sister, Jo Doris Johnson of Michigan. Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Darrell Gill and Don Rigsby officiating and burial will follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 11:AM until the time of the service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Whorton Springs Baptist Church or Whorton Springs Cemetery, in memory of Mrs. Maureen. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Rigsby family.



Richard Elmore Judd

Richard Elmore Judd, age 89 of Sparta, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in Sparta. He was a Baptist pastor for 51 years and last attended Johnson Baptist Church. He was an Air Force and National Guard veteran. He enjoyed gardening and talking to everyone.

He was born on July 7, 1935 in Cookeville. He was preceded in death by his wife; JoAnn Judd, parents; Ernest Payne and Mae Pittman Judd, 1 brother; JD Judd and 1 great-grandchild; Hudson Walker.

\Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 until the service at 1:00 in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Tim Judd, Bro. Clint Walker and Bro. Darrell Billings will officiate. Burial will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include his son; Tim (Christy) Judd of Walling, 2 daughters; Cindy Roberts (Tim Henry) of Sparta and Samantha (Ernie) Hargis of Baxter, 7 grandchildren; Michelle (Clint) Walker, Kerrie (Chris) Stone, Casey (Raquel) McCloud, Sierra (Ian) Adkins, Chet (Kyndra) Hargis, Marie Mosley and Justin (Sara) Worrix, several great-grandchildren also survive, 1 sister; Ruby (Bob) Fisher of Cookeville and 1 brother; Fred (Dean) Judd of Smithville.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
