The DCHS Tigerettes will play for the District Tournament Championship Thursday evening at Watertown against either Macon County or Upperman. WJLE will have LIVE coverage.
The Tigerettes advanced to the title game by beating Upperman 6 to 3 on Wednesday.
DeKalb County scored 6 runs on 9 hits and made 3 errors. Upperman scored 3 runs on 6 hits and made 4 errors.
The Tigerettes scored 3 runs in the 1st inning, 2 runs in the 5th inning, and 1 run in the 7th inning. Upperman scored 3 runs in the 7th inning.
Kenzie France was the winning pitcher.
Kenzie France hit a homerun. Emme Colwell doubled. Maddison Parsley had 2 singles. Megan Walker 3 singles and Allison Maynard and Kristena Bain singled.
