After surrendering three runs in the fifth inning, the DCHS Tigerettes rallied to defeat Livingston Academy 9-3 on Tuesday at Livingston.
The Tigerettes opened up scoring in the first inning as Jacey Hatfield grounded out, scoring one run. DC added three runs in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Ellie Cripps.
Cripps was credited with the victory for the Tigerettes. She gave up eight hits and three runs over seven innings.
The losing pitcher for Livingston Academy went three innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out one and walking one.
The Tigerettes totaled ten hits in the game including three each for Aly Griffith and Aniston Farler with hits also from Ellie Cripps.
