The DeKalb County Tigerettes brought down Smith County 11 to 1 through 5 innings in a girls softball game Monday afternoon in Smithville.
Ellie Cripps held the Lady Owls scoreless through 4 innings in the pitching circle.
Emma Johnson went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs and she drew a walk.
Emma Martin had a triple scoring 3 runs in the 3rdstarting what turned out to be a 9 run inning for the Tigerettes.
DeKalb County scored 1 run in the 1st inning, 9 runs in the 3rd, and 1 run in the 5th inning. Smith County got a run in the 5th inning.
The Tigerettes are 11-3 overall and 4-1 in the district. Smith County drops to 1-9 (1-3)
