Wayne Alan Shuttleworth

66 year old Wayne Alan Shuttleworth of Smithville passed away Friday at his home. He was a member of the Old Way Missionary Baptist Church and a Quality Engineer. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Tim Pack will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Mary Pizor Shuttleworth; infant son, Wayne Shuttleworth; brother, Wallace Shuttleworth; grandparents and nephew, Erik Shuttleworth. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Whittaker Shuttleworth; two daughters, Brenda and Brandon Fuson and Brandy and B.J. Patterson all of Smithville. Two sons, Gary and Anna Shuttleworth of Madison and Keith and Amanda Shuttleworth of Smithville. Seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four brothers, Mark and Ruthann Shuttleworth of Pennsylvania, Glenn Shuttleworth of Florida, David and Lori Shuttleworth and Brad and Amanda Shuttleworth of Pennsylvania. Two sisters, Mary and Michael Wright and Holly and Ken Werner of Pennsylvania. Good friend Linda Rodgers and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made to St. Judes.
