Jerry Anthony “Tony” Bogle

Jerry Anthony “Tony” Bogle age 63 of Smithville, passed away Sunday morning, March 3, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. He was born April 8, 1955 to his parents the late Cleason and Birdie Lee Herman Bogle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Farless and 2 sisters, Judy Stroud and Wanda Shoemake. He was a painter and a Baptist. Tony is survived by 1 daughter, Keisha Farless (Charles Young) of Smithville; 1 step-daughter, Amanda Stanley of Smithville; 2 grandchildren, Montana Farless and FiancĂ©, Ethan Lomas and Mckenzie Turner; 1 great-granddaughter, Emily Rose; 2 Sisters, Jan Davenport of Liberty, Ann (Billy Joe) Cripps of Dowelltown; 3 Brothers, Ralph (Laurel) Bogle, Joe (Vicky) Bogle and Tommy Bogle all of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2:PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Leonard Herman officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday 3 PM until 8 PM and Tuesday 9 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements
