Inez Malone Anderson age 87 of Alexandria passed away Thursday August 13, 2020 at the Lebanon Health Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon. She was born December 10, 1932 to her parents, the late Vernon and Belvie Mae Herman Hale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by by her husband: Joe Robert Anderson; Son: Billy Malone; 3 Sisters: Offalon Malone, Elizabeth Scott, Maurine Scott; 3 Brothers: James Hale, Jack Hale and infant brother Kenneth Hale. Ms. Inez was retired from Hartman Luggage and Sunset Restaurant, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in the Hillview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 2 PM until 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM. Due to the COVID-19, the Governors Executive Orders 38 and 51 and Social Distancing Guidelines; Our pews in the Chapel are marked off to respect the guidelines and allow approximately 100-125 people for the service, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise Social Distancing. The Funeral Home Lounge is Closed and NO Food or Drinks are allowed in the funeral home. Survivors include Son: Howard (Gail) Malone of Alexandria; Grandchildren: Christie (Joe) Smith, Tara Stacey, Travis Malone; Great-Grandchildren: Tyler (Destiny) Malone, Tatum (Billy) Carpenter, Talan Gentry; Sisters: Willette Hale of Liberty, Betty (Charles) Clayborn of Alexandria; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. In addition to flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the charity of your choice. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
