Races for two county offices, Register of Deeds and Road Supervisor, were uncontested in the primaries Tuesday but that will change in the August 4th General Election.
Republican Daniel Seber and Democrat Shelby Reeder won their respective primaries and are now in the race against each other to see who will succeed longtime Register of Deeds Jeff McMillen, who is retiring August 31 after 36 years in office.
Seber received 1,912 votes in the GOP Primary while Reeder got 799 in the Democratic Primary.
Meanwhile, Republican Incumbent Road Supervisor Danny Hale, seeking his second term, is being challenged for re-election by Democrat Wayne Shehane in August.
Hale garnered 1,772 votes in the GOP Primary Tuesday while Shehane received 822 in the Democratic Primary.
