Reese Williams is the 2022 DCHS Homecoming Queen

The 2022 Homecoming Queen at DeKalb County High School is Reese Williams.

The announcement was made Thursday at DCHS. Homecoming Spirit Week Activities will be next week September 26-30 including a Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 30 from the school to downtown and the DCHS Homecoming Football Game against Livingston Academy Friday night, September 30 at 7 p.m.

A senior, Williams is the 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Williams and Brian and Stephanie Williams.

Williams’ club participation and active memberships are as follows:
Member of the Science and Spanish clubs

Athletic Participation:
DCHS football and basketball cheerleader and DCHS basketball cheer co-captain.

Accomplishments/Awards:
DCHS cheerleader for 2 years; nominated to be an NCA All-American Cheerleader her Junior and Senior year; received the “Best Basketball Cheer” award; All “A” Honor Roll student; and participated in competition cheer for 5 years.

Other information (Church and Community Involvement):
Williams attends the Steven’s Street Baptist Church. Outside of church, Williams said she loves to spend time with her family and friends.

Future Goals: Esthetician

The Homecoming Attendants are:

*Senior Attendant – Hannah Trapp, the 17-year-old daughter of Jeremy and Jenny Trapp.
Hannah is a member of the Spanish club and a 4-year football cheerleader with 9 years of cheer competition.

Accomplishments/Awards:
Two-time NCA All American nominee and was awarded Best Stunts her Sophomore year and Best Dance her Junior year.

She attends Buckner’s Chapel Church and enjoys being with her family and friends.

Future Goals: X-Ray Technician

*Senior Attendant – Carlee Elizabeth West, the 17-year-old daughter of Megan and D.J. Stewart
Carlee is a member of the Spanish club, Literature Club, Service Society, BETA, and FBLA Club. She is also Captain of the Football Cheer Team and Co-Captain of the Basketball Cheer Team.

Accomplishments/Awards:
Best Jumps award winner as a freshman. Awarded NCA All American Cheerleader as Junior and Senior. Received the Pin It Forward award twice this summer at cheer camp. The award is given to an individual who has the quality that makes him or her stand out.

Other information (Church and Community Involvement):
Carlee attends Refuge Church in Smithville. She has been competitive in cheerleading since the age of 6. Carlee likes to spend her free time helping the younger girls in her community develop their cheerleading skills. Carlee is currently taking dual enrollment classes through Motlow State Community College. After high school she plans to attend Motlow State and then transfer to Tennessee Tech University where she will be majoring in special education.

Future Goals: Special Education Teacher

*Junior Attendant- Sadie Anne Moore, the 17-year-old daughter of Chris and Holly Moore.

Moore’s club participation and active memberships are as follows:
FCA member and President and member of Science and Spanish Clubs and Service Society

Accomplishments/Awards:
DCHS football film manager for 3 years.

Other information (Church and Community Involvement):
Sadie attends the Smithville Church of God, where her dad is pastor. Sadie also plays the piano for her church and is active in the youth group.

Future Goals: High School English Teacher.

*Sophomore Attendant- Ansley Caroline Crook, the 15-year-old daughter of Jacob and Kim Crook

Caroline is a member of the FBLA, BETA, FCA and Science Clubs and is a DCHS football cheerleader

Accomplishments/Awards:
All “A” Honor Roll.

Other information (Church and Community Involvement):
Member of the Memorial Baptist Church and the Upper Helton Baptist Church Youth Group
Future Goals: Physical Therapist

*Freshman Attendant- Deanna Marie Agee, the 14-year-old daughter of David and Dama Agee

Agee’s clubs participation and active memberships are as follows:
FBLA, Student Government, and the Science Club.

Athletic Participation:
Football Cheerleader

Accomplishments/Awards:
Agee was voted Freshman Class Favorite, Freshman Class Secretary, and NCA All-American Cheerleader this past summer at NCA Cheer Camp.

She attends the Smithville First Freewill Baptist Church.

Future Goals: Cosmetologist and part time photographer
