Fifty years after graduating from DeKalb County High School, members of the Class of 1968 gathered for their golden anniversary reunion Saturday evening to reminisce about the good old days.

David Burger traveled the farthest distance for the special event, coming all the way from Japan. Dorothy League Hayes was recognized for having been married the longest at 50 years. Among the class, Brenda Thweatt Colwell has the most grandchildren at 8. The group voted Janie Pack Bundy the least changed after 50 years and Neil Kight the most changed.

Several members of the 1968 faculty attended the event including Ann Puckett, Ina Ruth Bess, James Cantrell, Mike Braswell, W. C. Braswell, and Coach Harold Luna.
