Addyson Grace Swisher Crowned Saints Homecoming Queen

The 2021 DeKalb Saints Homecoming Queen Addyson Grace Swisher was crowned Thursday night during a program held prior to the game with White County at the DCHS football field.

The Saints lost 28-6 and drop to 2-3 on the season. Jon Hendrix scored on an 18 yard quarterback keeper for the Saints.

Swisher is the 13 year old daughter of Iain and Kassy Swisher. Her escorts were Wyatt Carter, 8th grade captain, holder and offensive linebacker, son of Jeff and Amanda Carter; and Hunter Buchanan, 8th grade captain, wide receiver and cornerback, son of Matthew and Rachel Buchanan.

Swisher is an active member of Relentless Student Ministries at Smithville AG. She represented the state of Tennessee and ranked Top 10 nationally at the Assembly of God Fine Arts Festival. Addyson has cheered for the DeKalb Middle School basketball cheer squad for 3 years and proudly serves as captain. She was chosen as an All American cheerleader by the National Cheerleading Association and also received the pin it award from the NCA, She is a member of Jr. Beta and received the 2019 golden ticket. Swisher enjoys gymnastics, dance and acting.

7th grade DeKalb West School attendant Kenadee Rose Prichard is the daughter of Luke and Jodee Prichard of Alexandria. Her escorts were Jaxon Kleparek, 8th grade tackle and defensive end, son of Dylan and Latonya Kleparek; and Bradley Hale, 8th grade guard and linebacker, son of Craig Hale and Katherine Poss.

Prichard has been a DeKalb West School basketball player for 3 years. She is a DWS Junior Beta member and is very involved in her church and youth activities.

7th grade DeKalb Middle School attendant Brooklyn Fuson is the daughter of William and Sarah Fuson. She was escorted by Turner Bryant, 8th grade guard and linebacker, son of Neal and Kathy Bryant; and Bryson Arnold, 8th grade guard and nose tackle, son of Dennis and Gina Arnold.

Fuson has been a DMS softball and basketball player for 2 years. She enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the lake. Brooklyn is also an active member of the Smithville First Assembly of God. When she is finished with school, Brooklyn wants to play fast pitch softball for Tennessee Tech, while studying to become an RN.

7th grade DeKalb Middle School attendant Brylee Kirby is the daughter of Chad and Shelia Kirby. She was escorted by Devin Fish, 8th grade wide receiver and cornerback, son of Danny and Nicole Fish; and Kaleb Gomez, 8th grade wide receiver and free safety, son of Miguel and Dulce Jaquez.

Kirby is a football manager and a basketball cheerleader. Brylee was selected as an All-American cheerleader during summer camp by the National Cheerleaders Association and will be performing in the Thanksgiving Day parade at Walt Disney World this year as part of that honor. She is a member of the Smithville First Baptist Church where she loves spending time with her youth group, and she also enjoys her tumbling classes at Infinity Athletics. Kirby is a member of the Student Council and the Jr. Beta Club.

8th grade DeKalb West School attendant Autumn Grace Dies is the daughter of Keith and Amanda Dies. Her escorts were Connor Hopkins, 8th grade wide receiver and cornerback, son of Jennifer Branin; and Jon Hendrix, 8th grade quarterback and offensive linebacker, son of Bradley and Lori Hendrix.

Dies has been a DeKalb West School Basketball Cheerleader for 2 years. She is a DWS Junior BETA member and she attends the Alexandria First Baptist Church.

8th grade DeKalb Middle School attendant Carleigh Beckham is the daughter of Nikki Beckham. Her escorts were Cole Bain, 8th grade wide receiver and linebacker, son of Lucas and Holly Bain; and Juan Ortega, 8th grade running back and strong safety, son of Margot De Jesus.

Beckham has participated in Junior Beta and Student Council for 3 years. She is Co-Captain for the DMS basketball cheer squad and has been on the squad for 3 years. She has been elected as an All-American Cheerleader by the National Cheerleading Association. Carleigh has also been a football manager for 2 years. She is an active member of her Relentless youth group at Smithville AG. She enjoys tumbling and hanging out with friends, family, and her youth group.

8th grade DeKalb Middle School attendant Brooklyn Blaylock is the daughter of Eric and Kortny Blaylock. Her escorts were Aiden Turner, 8th grade captain, cornerback and linebacker, son of Joshua and Erin Turner; and Jerett Hamilton, wide receiver and defensive end, son of Lynda Hamilton.

Blaylock has been a DMS football cheerleader for 3 years. She has also been an All-star cheerleader for Infinity Athletics for 4 years and enjoys tumbling. Brooklyn is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also a member of attends the Mount Hope The Baptist Church.
