Edgar Evins State Park will host the 13th Annual Celebration of Spring and Easter Egg Hunt Saturday April 13th with activities and vendors from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Peninsula.

The event begins at 9:00 a.m. with Ranger-Led Wildflower Hikes and continues with music and entertainment throughout the day. Don’t miss the wildlife demonstrations, Cannon Arts Dance Studio performance, pontoon boat rides, face painters, and craft vendors. Make plans to visit the food vendors and enjoy a picnic on the grounds. Be sure to stop by the office and climb the tower that overlooks the park and lake. The Grand finale will be the Easter Egg Hunt at 2:00 p.m.

SCHEDULE (SUBJECT TO SLIGHT CHANGES)
Ranger Led Wildflower Hikes, (9a.m. & 1p.m.) Highland Rim Nature Trail, next to office
Entertainment – On or near the Peninsula stage
- 10:00 – 10:30 – Birds of Prey presented by a Park Ranger
- 10:30 – 11:15 – Cannon Arts Dance Studio, ballet & Maypole, then all ages, everyone, join in on the Bunny Hop!
- 11:30 – 12:30 – Bob Tarter’s Animals from NHECM
- 12:30 P.M. – 1:45 P.M. – Music
- 2:00 P.M. – Easter Egg Hunt
Pontoon Boats Rides – as scheduled from 12 Noon to 4 P.M., a 45-60 minutes boat ride. Courtesy Boat Dock, next to the Peninsula
- REQUIRES ADVANCE SIGN-UP AT BOAT REGISTRATION TABLE WITH $5 CASH PER PERSON PAYMENT and A TIME STICKER ON THE BRACELET, The time on the sticker is the time the BOAT leaves the dock.
- If you decide to not go on the boat ride please let the registration person know ASAP so others may ride. No refunds will be given with less than a one hour notice.
- Children must be over age 3 years old and accompanied by an adult.
