Tigerettes Top Macon County

The DCHS Tigerettes defeated Macon County at home Tuesday 9 to 3.

DeKalb County scored 9 runs on 16 hits and made 2 errors.

Macon County scored 3 runs on 6 hits and made 2 errors.

The Tigerettes scored 2 runs in 3rd inning , 2 runs in the 5th, and 5 runs in the 6th inning. Macon County scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and 1 run in the 3rd inning.

Tigers Sweep Yellow Jackets

The DCHS Tigers swept both games of a double header at Trousdale County Thursday winning 3-2 and 11-0.

The Tigers scored 3 runs on 4 hits to get the win. Trousdale County scored 2 runs on 4 hits.

Hunter Jennings went 6 innings on the mound for the Tigers and gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He struck out 5 and walked 1.

Poss and Panter Win Most Coveted DCHS Basketball Awards, Rogers Named MVC

Sophomore Tanner Poss was named the DCHS Tiger basketball Most Valuable Player Friday night at the annual team banquet, while Senior Hannah Panter received the Lady Tiger MVP honor. Senior Captain Allison Rogers is the Most Valuable Cheerleader. The awards were sponsored by Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. The MVP and MVC awards are named in memory of Allen D. Hooper.
