The Tigers notched an 11-2 win over Clay County Friday in Smithville
DeKalb County scored five runs in the first inning, two runs in the second, and four runs in the fourth inning. Clay County scored two runs in the fourth inning.
For the Tigers, Seth Stanley pitched two innings and gave up one hit. He struck out two and walked two. Chase Hoke went two innings and gave up two earned runs on two hits. He struck out five. The DeKalb County Tigerettes shutout Monterey 16 to 0 but then lost to Mount Juliet 10 to 0 in pool play of the Duff Tournament at Cookeville Friday.

The Tigers notched another win over Murfreesboro Central Magnet Tuesday, taking a 2 to 1 decision at home, one day after beating them 8 to 3 in Murfreesboro on Monday.
In the game Tuesday, the Tigers scored two runs in the third inning. Murfreesboro Central scored one run in the second inning.
