Tigers Sweep Wildcats

The DeKalb County Tigers won both games of a double header against Livingston Academy Tuesday night in Smithville, 3 to 0 and 18 to 11

In the first game, DC scored one run in the second inning and two runs in the fourth.

Cody Puckett, faced twenty four batters through seven innings, pitching a one hit shutout. He struck out fourteen and walked two.

In the second game, the Tigers scored four runs in the first inning, two runs in the second, one run in the fourth, and ten runs in the fifth inning. The Wildcats scored eight runs in the first, two runs in the second, and one run in the sixth inning.

Chase Hoke, the winning pitcher, faced thirteen batters through three innings. He gave up two hits, struck out one, walked one, and hit a batter.
