The DeKalb County Tigers slew the York Institute Dragons in Smithville Monday, winning 12 to 1 in five innings.
DC scored two runs in the first inning, six runs in the second, and four runs in the fourth inning. The Dragons scored one run in the first inning.
Steven Page, the winning pitcher, gave up one earned run on four hits through five innings. He struck out nine and walked one.
