Tigers Score Winning Run in Eleventh Inning to Defeat White County

The DeKalb County Tigers defeated White County 4 to 3 in eleven innings Friday.

Aaron Patterson led off the bottom of the 11th inning with a double to right. The next hitter, AJ Mooneyham, hit a first pitch fastball to right to drive in Aaron for the win, improving the Tigers to 18-4 on the year.

The Tigers scored one run in the second inning, one run in the fifth and sixth, and one in the eleventh inning. White County scored two runs in the third and one run in the seventh inning.

Hunter Graham gave up two runs on two hits through five inning. He struck out six and walked five. Chase Hoke came in for one and two thirds innings and gave up one run on two hits and struck out one. Cody Puckett pitched for three and a third innings and gave up two hits and struck out nine. Devin Summers, the winning pitcher, came in for one inning and walked one.
