The DeKalb County Tigers outslugged the Macon County Tigers 13 to 12 in Smithville Thursday.
DC scored two runs in the first inning, eight runs in the second, two runs in the third, and one run in the sixth inning.
Macon County scored eleven runs in the second inning and one run in the sixth inning.
Devin Summers, the winning pitcher, gave up one earned run on four hits through four innings.. He struck out one and walked one. John Roller, who went one third of an inning, and gave up four runs on two hits and walked one. Steven Page went two and two thirds innings on the mound and gave up seven runs, including one earned run, on six hits. He struck out four.
