The Tigers notched another win over Murfreesboro Central Magnet Tuesday, taking a 2 to 1 decision at home, one day after beating them 8 to 3 in Murfreesboro on Monday.
In the game Tuesday, the Tigers scored two runs in the third inning. Murfreesboro Central scored one run in the second inning.
Stephen Howell, the winning pitcher, gave up only one earned run on two hits through seven innings. He struck out seven and walked four.
