After losing to Meigs County 64 to 59 on the first day of the Watertown Christmas Tournament Thursday, the DeKalb County Tigers defeated Watertown on Friday 45 to 42 but then fell to Livingston Academy on Saturday 62 to 55.
In the game with Livingston Academy, the Tigers trailed 12 to 10 after the first period and 25 to 21 at halftime. The Wildcats extended their lead to 41 to 34 after the third period and went on to win 62 to 55.
Ethan Roller had 20 points for the Tigers. Steven Jennings had 14 points. Austin Frazier 12. Justin Bone with 4. Kaleb Ferrell 3 and Aaron Patterson with 2 points.
In the Watertown game, the Tigers trailed 10 to 7 after the first period but grabbed a 22 to 16 lead by halftime. DC led 34 to 26 after the third period and went on to win 45 to 42.

Roller reached a milestone in his high school basketball years by scoring his 1,000th point in the game against Watertown.
