The DeKalb County Tigers lost to Shelbyville 27 to 3 in a pre-season football jamboree at Shelbyville Friday night.
The two teams played for two quarters and the Tigers got on the scoreboard as time expired on a Zach Taylor field goal from 34 yards out, capping an 11 play drive that covered 53 yards.
DeKalb County opens the season Friday night, August 20th at home versus Warren County. Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. and WJLE will have LIVE coverage.
