The DeKalb County Tigers added to their win column Monday with an 8 to 3 victory over Murfreesboro Central at MTSU.
The Tigers scored two runs in the first inning, one run in the fourth inning, two runs in the sixth, and three runs in the seventh inning. Murfreesboro Central scored three runs in fourth inning.
DC scored eight runs on eight hits and made three errors. Murfreesboro Central scored three runs on five hits and made an error.
Cody Puckett, the winning pitcher, gave up three runs, including two earned, on five hits through seven innings. He struck out eight and walked five.
