The DeKalb County Tigerettes wrapped up the regular season with a 2 to 1 win over Gordonsville in Smithville Thursday afternoon.
The Tigerettes scored both runs in the first inning and Gordonsville got it's only run in the fourth inning.
Olivia Norton went four innings in the pitchers circle and gave up one run on four hits. She struck out six and walked two. Kayla Self came in for three innings and gave up four hits. She walked one.
Cynthia Woodward, Kristina Stephens, and Kristian Puckett each singled and Alex Meadows had a triple and a single.
Both teams had an error.
The Tigerettes finish the regular season with an overall record of 24-6 and a district worksheet of 11-1.
The team will play their first game of the District Tournament on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Baxter against the winner of Upperman and Cannon County
