The season is over for the DeKalb County Tiger baseball team after losing to Smith County 9 to 6 and to Livingston Academy 17 to 9 Tuesday in the District Tournament at Smith County.
In the game with Smith County, the Tigers scored one run in the first inning, one run in the second, two runs in the third, and two runs in the sixth inning. The Owls scored four runs in the first inning, two runs in the fourth, one run in the fifth, and two runs in the sixth inning.
Steven Page, the losing pitcher, gave up seven runs, four earned, on eight hits through four innings. He struck out four and walked three. Devin Summers went two innings and gave up two runs, one earned, on one hit. He struck out four.

In the loss to Livingston Academy, the Tigers scored three runs in the first inning, one run in the second, four runs in the third, and one run in the fourth inning. The Wildcats scored one run in the first, one run in the second, three runs in the fourth, six runs in the fifth, five runs in the sixth, and one run in the seventh.
Stephen Howell, the losing pitcher, gave up nine runs, eight earned, on six hits. He struck out three and walked five through four and a third innings. John Roller went two innings and gave up seven runs, five earned, on nine hits. He struck out one. Chase Hoke went two thirds of an inning and gave up one run on two hits. He struck out one.
