The DeKalb County Lady Tigers got off to a good start against Livingston Academy in the District Tournament Wednesday night but couldn't keep pace and lost 62 to 42. With the loss the Lady Tigers are eliminated from the tournament and end their season with an overall record of 16-16.
DC led the Lady Wildcats 10 to 2 after the first period. But Livingston Academy rallied in the second quarter and led 25 to 16 by halftime. DC trailed 39 to 29 at the end of the third period and lost 62 to 42.
Chelsea Lewis scored 13 for DeKalb County. Morgan Pedigo had 12. Paige Winningham 11 and McKenzie Poteete and Loren Cripps each scored 3.
