Saints Win 24-0 at Cornerstone Middle School

The DeKalb Saints traveled to Baxter Thursday night to face off with Cornerstone Middle School and came out on top with a 24-0 shutout victory.

The saints scored with 3:24 left in the first period as Aaron Patterson found Lane Ball on an eight yard touchdown pass. Braxton Howell ran in for the two point conversion and the Saints lead 8-0.

In the second quarter with 7:55 left, Luke Boss scored on a two yard touchdown run and then the two point conversion run by Braxton Howell gave the Saints a16-0 lead at half time.

In the third quarter with 2:01 left, Braxton Howell scored on an eight yard touchdown run. Lance Ball scored on the two point conversion run and the Saints went on to win 24-0.

The Saints improve to 3 and 0 and will face Hartsville Thursday night, September 9th in Smithville. Kick off time is set for 6:30 p.m..
