The Macon County Tigers came to Smithville Thursday night and shut out the DeKalb County Saints 22-0.
Here's how the scoring went for Macon County,
In the first quarter with 1:11 left on the clock, Macon county scored on an 8 yard touch down run. The 2 point conversion attempt was no good but Macon County led 6-0.
In the second quarter Macon County scored again with 2:55 left before halftime on a 2 yard touch down run. The 2 point conversion was good and Macon County led at halftime 14-0.
In the fourth quarter Macon County put the game away with an 80 yard touch down run. The 2 point conversion was good and Macon County went on to win the game 22-0.
The Saint drop to 1-2 on the season and will travel to Hartsville Tuesday night September 6th. Kick Off is set for 6:30 p.m.
