Steven Jennings and Ashli Chew were named the Most Valuable Players of the DeKalb Middle School basketball teams while Azya McCoy received the Most Valuable Cheerleader honor during the annual awards banquet Thursday night.
In addition to the MVP award, Jennings received awards for Best Offensive player and Best Ball Handler

Noah Parsley: Best Rebounder and Best Team Player
Hustle Award and Best Rebounder: A.J. Mooneyham
Sixth Man Award: Gentry Harpole
Best Passer: Joey Moon
Chew, in addition to the MVP award, was named Best Rebounder
