DeKalb Tigerettes Now 2-2 in Commando Classic

The DeKalb County Tigerettes split a couple of games on day two of the Commando Classic in Hendersonville on Friday.

In the first game the Tigerettes lost to Wilson Central 4 to 3 but DeKalb County won the second game beating White House Heritage 13 to 1.

Wilson Central, in the first game, scored all four of it's runs in the first inning while the Tigerettes got all three of their runs in the second inning.

Morgan Page, the losing pitcher, went five innings and gave up four runs on six hits. She struck out two and walked three.

In the second game, the Tigerettes scored six runs in the second inning, four runs in the third inning, and three runs in the fourth inning enroute to the 13 to 1 victory over White House Heritage.

Their opponents scored one run in the first inning.

Olivia Norton, the winning pitcher, went four innings and gave up two hits. She struck out three and walked one.

The Tigerettes will meet Hume Fogg today (Saturday) at 9:00 a.m. followed by the single elimination portion of the tournament at 12:30 p.m. in the Commando Classic at Hendersonville. Their record in the classic is 2-2.
