The DeKalb County 13 & 14 year old All Stars won the Area Tournament at Smith County last week and will advance to the District Tournament, which is also being played at Smith County starting tonight (Monday).
DeKalb County will take on Smith County tonight at 6:00 p.m. Regardless of the outcome the two teams will re-match on Tuesday and a third and deciding game will be played Wednesday if necessary. It's a best two out of three tournament. The winner of the District Tournament will advance to the State Tournament at South Holston, Tennessee. Times and dates TBA.
In a recap of last week's action, DeKalb County defeated Westmoreland 15 to 4 on Monday, July 5th.
