The DeKalb County 11 and 12 year old All Stars claimed the District Tournament Championship Wednesday night in Lafayette with an 18 to 12 slugfest over Gallatin and will soon be packing their bags for the state tournament which begins July 24th at Erwin, Tennessee.
DeKalb had to rally to get the win Wednesday night, coming from behind 11 to 1 earlier to take the three game series, two games to one.
The local All-Stars scored 1 in the 1st; Gallatin scored 2.
Gallatin scored 2 in the 2nd and 7 in the 3rd
DeKalb scored 7 in the 4th
Gallatin scored 1 in the 5th
DeKalb scored 7 in the 5th and 3 in the 6th.
