The DCHS basketball teams rallied for come from behind victories over Watertown on the road Friday night. The Tigers won 59 to 52 and the Lady Tigers got a 48 to 44 win.
In the girls game, Watertown opened up a 21 to 6 lead after the 1st period and led 35 to 21 at halftime and 40 to 33 after the 3rd period. But DC outscored Watertown 15 to 4 in the 4th period to come from behind and win 48 to 44.
Emme Colwell scored 14. Madison Parsley 8. Mya Ruch 7. Megan Walker 6. Mallori Hart 5 and Sophia Cripps and Joni Robinson each with 4.
The Tigers trailed Watertown 17 to 14 after the 1st period. Watertown led 29 to 23 at halftime and 39 to 37 after the 3rd period. But the Tigers rallied for a 59 to 52 victory after outscoring the Purple Tigers 22 to 13 in the 4th period.

DeKalb County will host York Institute Tuesday night, December 5 and travel to Cannon County Friday night, December 8 starting with the girls game each night at 6 p.m. WJLE plans LIVE coverage.
