The DeKalb County High School Tiger soccer team travelled to Crossville, Tuesday, for their season opener against the Cumberland County Jets. The Class AAA Jets took a 1-0 lead at intermission, then tacked on two more goals in the second to score a 3-0 victory over the Tigers.
The Tigers were scheduled to travel to Woodbury, Friday evening, to take on new soccer district foe, Cannon County, but the game has been moved up to Thursday night due to the threat of rain on Friday. The match is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in Woodbury. The Tiger soccer team is scheduled to travel to Jamestown to play York Institute, Monday, March 17th, at 6:00 p.m., then will host district rival, Jackson County, in the home opener on Tuesday, March 18th, at 6:00 p.m.
